About the Film

Bilbo Baggins is swept into an extraordinary quest when the wizard Gandalf arrives at his doorstep with a group of thirteen dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield.

Together they embark on a perilous journey across Middle-earth to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug.

Along the way Bilbo encounters trolls, goblins and other dangers, and comes face-to-face with the mysterious creature Gollum – discovering a small ring that will change the fate of Middle-earth forever.
