Corporate risk-management consultant Lee Weathers is sent to a remote research facility following a disturbing incident involving Morgan, a synthetic human created through an advanced scientific experiment.

Although Morgan appears to be a young woman, she possesses extraordinary abilities and has developed far faster than her creators anticipated. As Lee investigates whether the project should be terminated, the situation rapidly escalates into a deadly struggle for survival.
